Catapult is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping launch Lakeland’s entrepreneurs. They wanted to create a collaborative workspace to let these start-up businesses focus on, accomplish their goals, and get connected to the greater Lakeland entrepreneurial community. This collaborative workspace consists of 3 floors that MABE was tapped to integrate state of the art AVL technology.

The 1^st floor consists of a small gathering room with two projectors and screens. This room is designed for small meetings or presentations. There is a small conference room on this floor as well.

The 2^nd floor is a massive open space with office cubicles and small conference rooms placed along the outer perimeter. Beginning in the open office space, MABE integrated a QSC system (KLA-12 line array and KLA-180 Subs) with Qsys control. MABE also installed a NEC NP-PA803UL-41ZL 8k laser projector. This system will allow clarity and intelligibility throughout the room when they host large events, have presentations, or classes. There are multiple conference rooms spaced throughout this floor equipped with Barco ClickShare which is a wireless presentation system designed for small to medium sized meeting rooms. What attracted Catapult to the Barco system is the wireless presentation feature which allows users to simply share what’s on their laptop or mobile device on the presentation screen with no cables, no set-up, and no waiting to join in. A small isolated podcast room is equipped with Shure SM7B’s with a 4- channel Focusrite Scarlett interface.  There is a classroom also located on the 2^nd floor that has NEC 6k projectors and QSC ceiling pendant speakers. This room is designed more for a class setting to host educational events.

On the 3^rd floor, there are multiple conference rooms equipped with the Barco ClickShare, 65” TV screens and JBL soundbars to provide a high-performance user environment. The largest presentation space in the building is the Assembly Room. MABE has integrated 3 projectors and screens, Allen & Heath SQ6 console, Shure Wireless QLXD-184 handheld microphones, and the Barco ClickShare. Their new JBL CBT 1000E-WH column array speakers provide smooth and clear audio for any presentation. The Qsys Core 110F was placed to turn the system on and off, lower the screens, and to turn the projectors on/off.
