Harvey Mabe
Harvey has over 35 years’ experience in the industry ranging from live event management, system design and integration, and engineering live sound. Team leadership development has been the key to Harvey’s success both personally and in the workplace.
Lorraine Mabe
BA, Southeastern University and MS Education, Nova Southeastern University
With almost 20 years' experience in Educational Leadership, Lorraine has worked in the public and private sectors. Her experience as an executive enables her to manage human resources and the day to day administration of MABE.
Steve Griner
BA, Broadcast Communications, Southeastern University
Steve’s 25+ years' experience encompasses live event production management, Broadcast Studio Facility Management, A/V system design and management for higher education and houses of worship. Steve has filled technical roles as FOH Audio Engineer, Lighting Designer and LD, Graphics Designer and CG Operator for live events, as well as Video Director for multi-camera events.
Drew Mabe
Drew has been working in the family business since he was old enough to help his dad load a truck. He is currently using his administrative skills in the front office of MABE. He is the first point of contact at MABE and works with all accounts ordering and assisting with shipping logistics. Drew is ready to assist you with your next project.
Beau Mabe
BS, Criminal Justice, Evangel University
Beau has been working in the family business on and off since high school. He has previously worked in our Production department and is now a strong team member of our installation crew. Beau has extensive experience in problem-solving and is ready to assist our customers with their AVL projects.
Sarah Stewart
BS, Studio Production, North Central University
Like her brothers, Sarah grew up working In the family business before officially becoming full-time in 2019. In her role, she manages social media and website operations, oversees the IT department, and is currently involved in Human Resources and Accounts Receivable. Sarah consistently demonstrates her versatility by contributing wherever she is needed.
David Smokay
BS, Broadcast Communications, Southeastern University
David is a seasoned professional in the audio and visual industry, with 15 years of experience under his belt. He started out at Southeastern University and has since played a variety of technical roles, specializing in broadcast and film. In late 2022, David became an Account Manager at MABE and is ready to assist you with your next AVL integration project.
Anna Martinez
BS, Broadcast Communications and Mass Media, Southeastern University
Anna is starting her AVL career as our Install Sales Assistant. She will work closely with Steve and David to coordinate site visits and communication with clients, among many other tasks to speed up our Sales process. Anna will be your first point of contact when working with Mabe on your next AVL Integration!
Richard Vaughan
Richard has over 20 years' worth of experience in the AVL industry ranging from Touring Front of House tech to system Integrator, Lead Installer and project lead. Richard is currently the Lead Engineer at MABE and holds certifications in the following areas: CTS Certified, Certified Extron Control System Programmer, as well as Certified Elec. Specialty Contractor in the State of Florida.
Brandon Miller
BS, Information Technology, University of South Florida
We welcomed Brandon to the MABE team in October 2019. He has been an asset to the installation department with his background in Information Technology. He was recently promoted to the Engineering Department. With the knowledge he's gained in install, he is now building and designing projects for us.
Jon Weimer
BS, Mechanical Engineering, University of Central Florida
Jon's experience in AVL started back in 2018 with his former company. We welcomed him to the MABE team in 2020 as our Engineering Draftsman. He works closely with Richard and Brandon to ensure our integration team has the proper drawings to complete each job.
Jared Coats
BA, Broadcast Communications, Southeastern University
Jared started at MABE over 10 years ago as a Production AVL tech. Since then he has moved departments to become our Integration Commissioning Technician. Jared will ensure that your next AVL Integration communicates and runs efficiently.
Kurt Fullgraf
Starting his AVL career in our installation department, Kurt joined the MABE team at the beginning of 2021. Kurt has proved to be an asset to the team bringing hard work and dedication to each job. With his growth of knowledge in AVL, he has advanced to the position of Lead Installer this past year.
Jake Forrest
Jake recently joined the MABE team in September of 2023. He will start his AVL career as an Installer for our Installation Department. Jake is new to the AVL industry but is eager to learn and has proven to be a great asset to the team in just a few short weeks.
Joseph Lewis
BA, Music Education, Warner University
Seeking to expand his expertise in the field, Joseph joined the MABE team as an AVL Installer in early 2024. With a background in music education (fun fact: he's played the saxophone for 14+ years!) and experience as a sound technician at his local church, Joseph is poised to be a valuable addition to our team.
Andre Douglin
BA, Classical Piano Performance, Southeastern University
We welcomed Andre to the MABE team in 2023. Since then, he has become an asset within our newest branch - Camera Surveillance Department. Andre brings 10+ years of experience in this field and will oversee the management of camera packages and services for our respected clients. Matt Hughes
Matt comes to MABE with several years of experience in system installation and troubleshooting. Aside from his technical abilities, Matt has been on the other side of technology as a worship leader for 20+ years. Matt currently heads up the service department of MABE.
Brian Neff
AA Miami Dade College
Brian brings over 15 years’ experience in the installation and servicing of audio visual equipment to the MABE team. He also has experience working in church production and customer service. Brian’s main focus at MABE will be working with the service team.
Elijah Martinez
Joining the team in 2024, Elijah keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes! From managing shipments and organizing job pallets to keeping the shop clean and tidy, he’s always on top of it. He’s also happy to jump in and lend a hand with installations and camera surveillance projects whenever needed. Elijah’s hardworking and friendly attitude makes him a key part of the Mabe team!
Austin Smith
BS, Business Admin Management, University of Central Florida
Austin has several years of experience in the AVL industry working as a project manager for a multi-site installation. He also has experience working in church production as he was an associate pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven. He has over 10 years of experience in sales and he is now serving as our Production Account Manager. Give him a call for all of your rental and production needs.
Greg Chambless
BA, Broadcast Communications, Southeastern University
Greg began volunteering in the sound department in his church at the age of 12. He worked for the University in the Media Services Department and as a freelancer at MABE during college. Greg’s interest in lighting design brought him to MABE full-time. He has been an audio, lighting, and video tech and now is the Production Manager at MABE.
Beckah Godown
BA, Communications and Mass Media, Southeastern University
We are excited to announce Beckah's addition to the MABE team in early 2024 as a Production Assistant. She'll assist mainly with Live Event logistics, drawings, and freelancer coordination. Beckah brings four years of AVL management experience from her church. We're sure she'll be a standout asset at MABE!
CJ Raymond
CJ became part of the Mabe team in July 2023, bringing a wealth of experience to the table. With a background as a Technical Director at his previous church and as an AVL Technician on tour with various ministries, CJ has a deep understanding of production and live events. He is now a key member of our Production Department, where his expertise and passion for AVL shine.
Matt Glendening
Matt brings years of experience as a full-time AVL tech from his time serving at his church. Since joining our team in 2024, he helps run live events with precision and expertise, making sure everything goes off without a hitch. Matt’s passion and skill are key to delivering seamless event experiences!
Joe Bush
Joe has had a seasoned career in the AVL industry. Moving his family from South Dakota to Florida, he joined the MABE team in August of 2022 and serves as our Lead AVL Technician for our production department. Joe will make sure that your next Live Event runs flawlessly.
Tyler Nehring
Tyler joined the Mabe team in 2024, bringing years of experience as an AVL tech from his time serving at his church. His passion for AVL and keen attention to detail make him a perfect fit for the team. At Mabe, Tyler ensures every job is prepared with the right equipment and keeps the shop running smoothly. His dedication and expertise are invaluable to our success!
