Marlton Assembly of God, a church located in Marlton, New Jersey, recently completed an expansion of their sanctuary space. With the help of MABE, they were able to equip the new space with an up-to-date AVL system that is perfectly suited to their needs.

We installed Meyer UPA-1P loudspeakers, which are still in excellent condition after being installed in 2017. The console was upgraded to an Allen & Heath dLive S7, which is compatible with the Meyer point source boxes. The dLive-S7 console is a powerful, flexible digital mixer for live audio applications. The console offers 16 mic inputs, 64 line inputs, and 32 buses, as well as built-in dynamics and EQ processing. The intuitive user interface allows fast and easy operation, while built-in tools allow great sound shaping and editing. This makes it ideal for any live sound application.

Marlton wanted to bring a modern, high-end feel to their stage setup. To achieve this effect, we chose a state-of-the-art pixel-pitched LED wall in place of projectors and screens. The Splendor LED Stage Displays 2.5 mm Wilmington model was our top choice due to its high-quality LEDs backed by durable aluminum for secure mounting. To complete the look, we integrated a Splendor 3.9mm Durham wall onto the center of the stage to color-match the side displays.

Marlton’s new broadcast suite was outfitted with Blackmagic Design products. These products provide Marlton with excellent quality and cost-effectiveness while giving them the enhanced streaming they were searching for. Products such as the ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K, Design Smart Videohub 40×40, DeckLink Duo 2, Micro Studio 4K Camera, and more were all selected for the suite. These products allow Marlton to offer their viewers a better streaming experience.

For the stage lighting, Chauvet Lighting was our go-to choice. The Rogue R2 Wash is perfect for a church’s stage setup, offering an even and consistent output with the ability to be used both as a wash and spot. Meanwhile, the Rogue R2 Spot provides bright beams and sharp optics for impressive visuals. To make this setup even more efficient, we incorporated the Chroma-Q Vista 2048 dongle into our design so that all of the lighting could be controlled from one computer. This allowed us to save on costs and space by not having a physical console in their booth.
