Grace City Church: Adamson System 2019
Posted on May 24, 2019 | Integration
MABE was honored to partner with Grace City on their new Lakeside Campus. This 792-seat auditorium was a complete renovation from aesthetics to the entire audio, video, and lighting systems. We had many discussions on which line array would give the warmth that Grace City was looking for. Our conclusion was Adamson’s IS10 line array paired with the IS119 sub-cabinet flown directly behind, along with 7 PC5 front fills. MABE recommended the IS10’s system because it provides plenty of volume while maintaining a smooth non-harsh sound at higher spl.
The IS10 is a two-way, full-range line array cabinet containing two ND10-LM 10-inch kevlar neodymium drivers and an NH4TA2 1.4-inch exit compression driver. The IS119 subwoofer is loaded with a lightweight, long excursion 19-inch ND19 Kevlar Neodymium driver that uses Adamson’s Advanced Cone Architecture.
“We wanted a system that was an evenly divided sound” says Grace City’s Creative Arts Pastor, Chase Wagner. “We wanted to give 800 people an amazing experience in church, and not have one seat with a different audio experience than another. We also wanted a warm sounding speaker that didn’t need to be run at a massively loud volume to still sound huge. Adamson delivered an amazing product that fulfilled all of our needs”.
With these well-designed speaker cabinets, the rigging process was a breeze thanks to Adamson’s rigging links that come pre-installed with each cabinet. The system is driven by QSC Q-SYS Processor and Lab Gruppen amps with Lake processing.
“MABE has worked closely with us at every step of the process of our Grace City Lakeside Campus buildout/renovation. From dreaming up ideas, to execution, the MABE staff was only ever a phone call away. They were always passionate about getting us the best deals on the best products. Adamson was our choice as well as MABE’s for us. Even after the install, MABE staff has been standing by for any questions or troubleshooting” Chase Wagner, Creative Arts Pastor.
MABE is honored to have been asked to partner with Grace City church on the new campus and looks forward to future projects that move the Gospel forward with excellence!
