Faith Church: Walterboro 2020
Posted on Nov 1, 2020 | Integration
This is our third project with Kyle Lake and his team at Faith Church located in Walterboro, South Carolina. They are converting this new building into a facility for one of their nine campuses. This building houses their new Sanctuary, Multi-purpose room, Children’s room, Mother’s room, Café, Greenroom, and Offices for the staff.
For the Sanctuary, we selected 24 – IS7 Adamson line arrays, 8- IS118 subs, and 8- front fills. The front-of-house is controlled by an Allen & Heath SQ7. We chose Allen & Heath’s ME monitoring system to control in-ear monitors that are for the stage. The lighting consists of 26 – ovation cool white 915 Fresnels and 6 – Chauvet R3 Spots. They will have a full lighting node system that allows them to have lighting drops throughout the building. With their new Epson Pro L1405U 4K Laser projectors, they are able to form a collage on their screens. Instead of a traditional screen, they are using a multi-tile screen with gaps in between tiles to create a mosaic effect. We placed a Blackmagic ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel unit which is a full-featured hardware control panel for BMD ATEM switchers. It connects via Ethernet and provides hands-on tactile control, which is essential for broadcast studios. We also installed a HyperDeck Studio Mini, which is a miniature broadcast deck that gives you incredible video recording quality.
In their main concourse, we installed a video wall utilizing the XT1144 BrightSign players. This allows them to stream different digital signage to the wall. It is a 3-screen wide by 3-screen tall wall. Pendant speakers are installed to provide audio feed in the concourse.
MABE was excited to be a part of this renovation project and is excited for all there is to come at Faith Church!
