MABE was recently commissioned to design and integrate audio and lighting systems for the Estates at Carpenters. With a clear vision to facilitate outdoor concerts and events tailored specifically for their residents, the Estates at Carpenters entrusted MABE to expertly guide them in achieving this objective.

Audio System:

For optimal audio performance, we strategically selected Meyer’s UPQ-DL loudspeakers combined with 900-LFC subwoofers, positioning them on both sides of the stage. These speakers are designed with advanced weatherproofing technology to endure Florida’s demanding climate conditions. For audio control, a mobile solution was prioritized over a fixed setup. Consequently, we opted to utilize an iPad to grant the desired mobility. Windy City wiring is distributed within conduit systems across the venue to ensure comprehensive connectivity.

Lighting System:

Given that this is an outdoor lighting system, it was essential that we carefully selected the appropriate products in our design process. Durability and longevity were of importance to the client; therefore, we chose Chauvet Lighting as our primary option. Products such as the Colorado2QuadZoom, ColoradoSoloBatten, Ovation Reve E-3 IP, and OHDLENS26 have demonstrated their resilience in harsh climates while providing optimal lighting performance for outdoor venues. To enhance usability, we chose the CueServer 2 by Interactive Technologies. This device offers a plug-and-play functionality, which aligns with the client’s preference for such capabilities.
