Covenant Church Palm Bay 2024
Posted on Apr 26, 2024 | Integration
Recently, Covenant Church in Palm Bay, Florida, underwent the construction of a stunning new Worship facility. MABE was entrusted with integrating cutting-edge AVL technology, a task that was completed on time for Easter Sunday celebrations.
Audio System:
In the main Sanctuary, the PA system features an RCF line array with 16 RCF HDL6 units and two 18-inch subwoofers under the stage. The Q-SYS Core 110f processor manages the system, working in tandem with the Allen and Heath SQ7 console and Dx48 stage box, linked to the Ace Backstage floor pockets with accessible audio inputs and outputs. The main AVL rack includes power distribution, battery backup, and power sequencing through Middle Atlantic.
Lighting System:
The lighting system features an arrangement of (4) front lighting positions at the forefront of the stage and (2) additional lighting positions on stage for backlighting purposes. This setup includes dynamic, LED-based moving lights that are designed to provide vibrant stage coloring. Furthermore, the system is equipped with (4) spot fixtures, such as the Chauvet Rogue Spot, which are versatile in creating spotlight effects, aerial displays, and gobo projections throughout the sanctuary. Complementing these elements are LED strip lights installed to deliver a color wash effect on the back wall, enhancing overall stage visibility and ambiance.
The lighting infrastructure is controlled by a 4-universe lighting console with a node system at each lighting bar location. This allows for flexibility on DMX count and easy future changes. The lighting system includes (4) entry stations for limited control and interface with house lights. MABE also supplied color-changing elation fuse pendants for house lighting to create warm/ cool lighting. It is controlled by an Interactive Technology wall entry station and the lighting console.
Video System:
MABE utilized the church’s existing broadcast equipment while also integrating (2)10K projectors, which are suspended from the ceiling and connected to (2) Da-lite electric roll-down screens for optimal viewing. Additionally, two 85-inch monitors mounted on the rear wall serve as fold-back displays for stage monitoring. The system is integrated with advanced technology, including a video switcher, a comprehensive 20 x 20 router, and converters to ensure high-quality video management and display.
As part of our Integration services, MABE provided Covenant’s technical team with commissioning, training for all systems, and first-Sunday support. We feel privileged to have had the chance to work alongside Covenant, and we look forward to witnessing their continued growth!
