Access Church acquired the Salvation Army Community Worship Center in North Lakeland to establish an extension site for their church. With the help of MABE, the existing sanctuary was repurposed as a youth and children’s center, while the gymnasium was transformed into a new sanctuary. By leveraging owner-furnished equipment, Mabe successfully met the budgetary requirements while designing and integrating AVL products that operate seamlessly.

Audio:

Owner-furnished equipment for the Audio system consists of Danly point source speakers and subs, Ashly Amps, and a couple of handheld microphones. MABE installed an Allen & Heath SQ7 console chosen for its user-friendly interface and exceptional audio quality. The SQ7 provides flexible routing and advanced processing, making it ideal for audio management in Q-Sys-based systems. This is why we chose Q-Sys products for Audio control and connectivity. Substantial acoustic treatment has been designed and applied to the walls and ceiling since this area was formerly utilized as a gymnasium.

We engineered a custom rigging truss box designed to support the audio system. This innovative design allows for future expansion, enabling the PA system to accommodate heavier equipment, primarily for lighting and audio applications.

Video:

As this is a streaming campus, we prioritized integrating high-resolution and low-latency solutions to ensure optimal streaming performance. To achieve this, we selected Resi’s encoder products for their ability to deliver high-quality video and audio while offering an intuitive user experience. A 2.9mm DVS LED Wall was added to the center stage for graphics and streaming. This wall provides a magnetic release function that allows for easy maintenance and troubleshooting.

Lighting:

The Elation Fuze Pendants are highly versatile and practical lighting solutions for residential settings. They pair well with the scene station mounted on the wall at entry-ways, allowing for effortless operation. Additionally, these lights can be integrated with ChamSys control systems to facilitate mood lighting, offering adjustable brightness and color-changing capabilities. Additional products to note are the Chauvet Colorado Wash, Rogue Wash, and Rogue Beam. Each of these items plays a crucial role in enhancing mood lighting and improving the overall illumination of the stage.
